Traffic Violations Attorneys Serving Suffolk County, New York

Points from speeding tickets can cause insurance premiums to jump or result in a revoked or suspended license. It is estimated that insurance costs increase 18% after one moving violation and as much as 53% after three moving violations. Convictions for three speeding tickets or an accumulation of 11 points within an 18 month period will result in a loss of driving privileges. We have great success in getting speeding tickets and other traffic tickets reduced or dismissed without the driver having to appear in court. We appear for speeding tickets and traffic tickets in the Justice Courts of the Town of Southampton, Village of Southampton, Village of Sag Harbor, Town of East Hampton, Town of Riverhead, Town of Southold, Town of Shelter Island, Village of Quogue, Village of Westhampton Beach and Village of West Hampton Dunes as well as the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency in Hauppauge. Avoid points on your license, higher fines, insurance costs and DMV assessments by having Paul Tuths handle your speeding ticket or other traffic ticket/violation in a Suffolk County court. For information on how to respond to a ticket, Paul can be reached by calling 631-287-0018 or by email at [email protected].

Our Process

Paul Tuths takes a personal, hands-on approach to the defense of your speeding ticket. He will interview you over the telephone and through emails and review your documentation to obtain as much information as possible regarding the circumstances surrounding your speeding ticket. He will provide you with detailed information on how to respond to the speeding ticket and enter a plea of NOT GUILTY. After the speeding ticket is returned to the court with a plea of NOT GUILTY, the court sets a conference date at which time Paul Tuths will appear on your behalf and discuss a proposed reduction or dismissal with the prosecutor. We are able to proceed in court on most speeding tickets without your personal appearance based upon your written authorization in order to obtain a final disposition to your traffic ticket or summons. We prepare the authorization letter for you to sign. From start to finish, Paul Tuths will be the attorney personally handling your speeding ticket. We DO NOT farm out cases to other attorneys to make our court appearances on speeding tickets. We use our many years of experience in the courts of eastern Long Island to get the best possible result for you. At the conclusion of the court case, Paul Tuths will contact you to advise you of the final disposition on the ticket, the fine imposed by the court (unless the ticket has been dismissed) and the date by which payment of the fine is due.
